There are at least three artists named Sponge on last.fm: i) Sponge is an alternative/post-grunge band from Detroit, formed in 1991. All of the original members, except for drummer Jimmy Paluzzi, were a part of the hard rock band . Drummer-turned-vocalist Vinnie Dombroski became the frontman of Sponge after their previous band's demise.
