Alice Nine (previously known as ?????. and alice nine.) is a Japanese visual kei band consisting of five members: ? (Shou) on vocals, ??? (Hiroto) on guitar, ? (Tora) on guitar and backing vocals, ?? (Saga) on bass and backing vocals, and Nao on drums. Drummer Nao formed the band in 2004, recruiting vocalist Shou and guitarist Tora from the band ??? which had just split up, and they were signed to the PS COMPANY indies label Indie-PSC. Their first single ??????????? was released the same year. During their first year, they did small tours with other Japanese bands.
