The Original YES Recording has Steve Howe playing a Portuguese 8-String Guitar, but I have arranged it for Standard 6-String.
This Section ("Apocalypse") was added by Yes to "And You And I" after all of the earlier Versions of the Song were completed, and this Theme also appears near the end of "Cord of Life" (that brief "Anderson and Howe-only" part was also a post-production addition), as a sort of "Pre-Apocalypse", I suppose. "Apocalypse" features only Howe on Guitar and Pedal Steel (with Jon Anderson on Vocal), and also features the infamous one-note ending that Steve "plays" on the Pedal Steel. ( Edit )
