"Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know" is the fourth and last single from Britney Spears' second album Oops!...I Did It Again. The track was written by producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange and his then-wife, country artist Shania Twain. It was released on March 26, 2001, and was only moderately successful, failing to chart on either the Top 40 Tracks or Rhythmic Top 40 in the United States. Internationally, "Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know" fared better on the charts, peaking just outside the top ten (at #12) in the UK.
