Clad in Shadows can be found on In Flames' first album Lunar Strain. It was recorded during the autumn and winter of 93, and realesed April 1. 1994. In this release, vocals were sung by Mikael Stanne, the vocalist of Dark Tranquillity, who was a session musician for In Flames at the time. A re-recorded version can be found on the Japanese and Korean editions of Colony & Whoracle (Deluxe Edition). In this new version, the song is sung by Anders Fridén, and the instrumental part was improved.
