Notice
This tab picks up from the very beginning of the
song, right at the end of "voice of the voiceless". So,
on the album, there would be a little bit of votv leaking
in over the first bit of the bass intro.
Not that hard to tab, but it was hell on earth trying to get
that cursed pre-verse bar sounding right, but I think
after trying every humanly possible combination of
triplets and dotted beats going, the (stupidly simple) one
i've settled on is as close as I'm going to get. For the
verses, depress your wah wah so that it is in full treble
position to get the effect that appears in the song.
I'm not sure about some of the tempo changes, since
some of them, if any, completely elude (illude?) me. It's
gotten to the point where I'm starting to think that the
bass drum bridge things are done in free time.
There are three types of Tom Morello solo. The guitar
solo, the straightforward-enough pedal solo, and the
WTF solo. Unfortunately, this song has a WTF solo, but
I've done my best to document it here. As for in real life,
I just try to improvise something for that bit :)
