This an unreleased song by Sea Wolf called "The Violet Hour" for the New Moon Soundtrack in stores and online October 16th. Sea Wolf describes themselves in a Vanity Fair interview as a folk-rock band with "sea-shanty instrumentation." Alex Brown Church of Sea Wolf told Vanity Fair that he wrote the song about a girl who is interested in him, but she is somewhat distant and aloof. He is unsure whether she is leading him on or not, and adds a sexy attitude to the Soundtrack. The sound is up-beat, but the lyrics give a dark and steamy tone.
